Automatic Hand Sanitiser Dispenser

Hands are easily cross-contaminated after touching various surfaces. Automatic hand sanitiser dispensers ensure safety and hygiene in your professional environment. However, there are times when the automatic hand sanitiser dispenser stop working. Here are a few steps you can carry out to troubleshoot and fix your automatic hand sanitiser dispenser. 

RED LIGHT FLASHING

Follow these steps if you see a red light flashing on your automatic hand sanitizer dispenser.

1. Open Dispenser Casing with key provided

2. Check Sanitizer level

3. Make sure Refill Unit is ¾ filled with Sanitizer

4. Make sure batteries are not weak or flat

5.All 04 x AA sized batteries are inserted correctly

6. Cover the Dispenser Casing and check for green flashing light

LEAKING

Leaking can be caused by the tube being disconnected or protruding out. Follow these steps if you see a leaking on your automatic hand sanitizer dispenser.

1. Open Dispenser Casing with the key provided

2. Check Tube is inserted correctly

3. Check Switch (Black/Red) on the left is adjusted to the TOP

4. Remove the Refill Unit to check on the Grey/White Hammer

5. Ensure the Grey/White Hammer behind the Refill Unit Tube is not protruding out

6. If protruding, do Steps (a) to (c) at the same time   

(a) Place left thumb on the small button with a clicking sound

(b) Right Thumb on Grey/White Hammer

(c) 4 fingers under the sensor

(d) Gently push on the Grey/White Hammer

7. Grey/White Hammer should be flat now

8. Insert the Refill Unit back into Dispenser Casing

9.Try again by putting your hand under the sensor  

NOT DISPENSING

If it still not working, follow these steps:

1. Open Dispenser Casing with the key provided

2. Check Tube is inserted correctly

3. Check Switch (Black/Red) on the left is adjusted to the TOP (PIC 02)

4. Remove the Refill Unit to check on the Grey/White Hammer

5. Ensure the Grey/White Hammer behind the Refill Unit Tube is not protruding out

6. If protruding, do Steps (a) to (c) at the same time.

(a) Place left thumb on the small button with a clicking sound

(b) Right Thumb on Grey/White Hammer

(c) 4 fingers under the sensor

(d) Gently push on the Grey/White Hammer

7. Grey/White Hammer should be flat now

8. Remove Tube

9. Wash and squeeze the Tube under clean running water to remove crystallisation or sanitiser build-up

10. Make sure the small valve is still inside (applicable for some Dispensers)

11. Valve to be placed with the sharp end pointing upwards

12. Replace Tube back on Refill Unit

13. Squeeze the Tube a few times for the Sanitizer to flow through

14. Insert the Refill Unit back into Dispenser Casing

15. Try again by putting your hand under the sensor

Monthly Maintenance

Please wash the tubes at least once a month under clean running water and squeeze the tube at the same time to dislodge any crystallisation or build-up to ensure a smooth flow of sanitiser.
